How does hourly chauffeur hire work in Istanbul?

Hourly chauffeur hire gives you the vehicle and the chauffeur for a block of time, with unlimited stops anywhere inside Istanbul. Waiting, parking, fuel and tolls are all inside the hourly rate. The minimum is four hours, priced per vehicle, and you can extend hour by hour on the day by telling the chauffeur.
It is the natural choice for meeting days, property viewings, shopping across Nişantaşı and the Grand Bazaar, medical appointments, and any itinerary that is likely to change while you are living it.
Unlimited stops
Inside Istanbul, stop as often as you like. There is no per-stop charge and no re-quoting mid-day.
Waiting is included
The chauffeur waits at each stop with the vehicle. You are not paying twice for the same hour.

Is hourly hire cheaper than separate transfers?
Hourly chauffeur hire in Istanbul is usually cheaper than three separate transfers in one day, and it saves you waiting for each new car. If your day involves a meeting, a lunch and a return to the hotel, hourly is both cheaper and calmer.
The exception is a straight airport run with nothing in between — for that, a fixed point-to-point price is the better deal and we will tell you so.
Beyond roughly six hours the arithmetic changes again and a full day chauffeur in Istanbul becomes the cheaper booking: eight or ten hours are quoted as a block, the chauffeur stays with you between stops, and nothing is re-priced because the day ran long.
What can you use an hourly chauffeur for in Istanbul?
An hourly chauffeur in Istanbul suits any day with three or more stops inside the city, or a day whose finish time you cannot predict. The five uses below cover most bookings; each one starts from the four-hour package at €199 per vehicle in a V-Class Vito and extends hour by hour on the day.
Business meetings across the city
A meeting day in Istanbul often means Levent in the morning, lunch in Nişantaşı and an afternoon appointment on the Asian side. With hourly hire the car waits outside each office, your documents stay in the vehicle, and a meeting that overruns costs one extra hour rather than a missed pickup. An E-Class suits a meeting day, from €275 for four hours.
Property and real estate viewings
Property viewings in Istanbul are spread across districts that are 30 to 60 minutes apart in traffic, such as Başakşehir, Beylikdüzü, Kartal and the Bosphorus shore. Hourly hire lets you see four or five properties in a day without re-booking a car, and lets you return to the one you liked. Book six to eight hours when the agent's list has more than three addresses.
Shopping days
A shopping day in Istanbul typically moves between Nişantaşı, İstinye Park and the Grand Bazaar, three areas with little parking and long walks between them. On an hourly booking the bags stay locked in the vehicle while you shop, and the chauffeur drops you at the door of each store. A V-Class Vito fits six passengers with room left for purchases.
Medical and clinic appointments
Guests attending clinic or hospital appointments in Istanbul use hourly hire because consultation times are rarely exact. The chauffeur waits at the clinic, takes you to the pharmacy or the hotel afterwards, and adjusts if a follow-up is scheduled the same day. Tell the desk if a passenger needs help getting in and out of the vehicle, so the chauffeur is briefed before pickup.
An evening out
An evening in Istanbul often means dinner in Bebek or Karaköy, then a rooftop bar or a concert on the other side of the city. With hourly hire you do not wait for a taxi at midnight; the car is outside when you leave. Four hours from €199 per vehicle is enough for dinner and one more stop, with the return to your hotel included.

How much is a full-day chauffeur in Istanbul?
A full-day chauffeur in Istanbul costs from €250 for eight hours in a V-Class Vito, €300 in a Sprinter VIP, €350 in an E-Class and €700 in an S-Class, per vehicle. Fuel, tolls, parking and waiting are included, so in a V-Class Vito one eight-hour day costs less than two four-hour blocks at €199 each.
Can an hourly chauffeur take me outside Istanbul?
An hourly chauffeur in Istanbul can drive you outside the city, but not on the hourly rate. Hourly rates cover journeys inside Istanbul. For Bursa, Sapanca, Şile, Edirne or Çanakkale we quote a fixed intercity price instead, including tolls, ferry crossings and the chauffeur's expenses. Tell the desk the destination and how long you expect to stay there.
