What we collect
Identity and contact data: name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number.
Journey data: pickup and drop-off addresses, flight number, date, time, passenger and luggage count, child seat requirements.
Payment data: transaction reference and the last four digits of the card. Full card numbers are processed by our payment provider and never stored on our systems.
Technical data: IP address, browser type and anonymised analytics about how the website is used.
Why we process it
To perform the transport contract you enter into when booking.
To communicate with you about the reservation, including chauffeur details before pickup.
To comply with legal obligations relating to invoicing, taxation and passenger transport licensing.
With your explicit consent only, to send occasional service updates. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
Sharing
Your journey details are shared with the assigned chauffeur only, and only for the journey concerned.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Data is disclosed to public authorities strictly where legally required.
Retention and your rights
Booking records are retained for ten years to satisfy Turkish commercial and tax law. Marketing consent records are deleted on withdrawal.
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data by writing to info@istanbulvipchauffeur.com. We respond within 30 days.
